Bush Wins !!!

It appears to be over. Although I wanted, and predicted, a Kerry victory, I congratulate the President and his supporters on his win. I hope he and our nation are successful in his second term.

I woke up this morning fully expecting Kerry to easily win. I vote for Bush and am very pleasantly surprised by tonight's results.

I don't think so, and I am one. I don't see a legal challenge as likely. The election does not look particularly close (though it is relatively close for a presidential election with an incumbent).

Quite gracious, even dmcowen is being pretty decent.

Hopefully the republicans will follow suit, there's no need for anyone to be assholes about this. I truly fear what the likes of Michael Moore will have to say.

It was close, but at least this time there's no room for argument - Both popular and electoral go for Bush, not much room to argue there.

I'm waiting for official concession from Kerry, hope he hurries up 'cause I want to go to bed.

So true...

lol, this is just sad. How the hell the dems lost this election I'll never know. Well, I can guess, might have something to do with the fact that they picked a loser like Kerry. I detest Bush, but christ this is pathetic. Will be fun (In a sad kind of way) to see what Bush does with the supreme court.

I agree with everything you said, it's almost like watching an impending train wreck. You know its gonna be gruesome but you can't stop looking.

I can't see Kerry conceding. I think he'll send lawyers.

As implied by others, I think the Dems did lose this because of their choice for candidate. I would be surprised to hear a concession speach, with the numbers of electronic voting machines, absentee voting I am sure something somewhere will be contested somehow.

Why would Kerry concede? Ohio's up for grabs. Especially with provisional ballots still to be counted.

He still doesn't have a mojority by my count. He only has 269...and one of those isn't going to come through.

I feel sorry for our country and the next country we decide to invade on false pretences.

May which ever god help us.

eh. I really don't mind 4 more years of Bush, but the idea of 4 more years with 2 branches of the government controlled by one party scares the crap out of me.

Well it really is over, Grats Republicans. My only real fear now aside from terrorists response is that now he doesn't have to gain the public's trust what kinda guns is he gonna bring out now?
