Bush = The Village Idiot?

"Come the millennium, month 12,
In the home of greatest power,
The village idiot will come forth
To be acclaimed the leader."
--Nostradamus, 1555

I guess that would've applied to Gore too, but...😉

I wonder what source made up this quote and distributed it to the masses

It was probably one of those people raised in Hillarys village. They all tend to think alike, poorly.

Konichiwa = the village [deleted]?

<< Isn't there a lot of things that Nostradamus predicted that came true. Seems like an awful wise man to me >>

You mean like all the times that the world was supposed to end in the last 100 years?

Did Nostradamus predict when certain people will realize the election is over and they can stop spouting the old, untrue democratic party smear line?

Oh, now I see...it all makes sense. Gore won the election but couldn't get elected because then the prophecy wouldn't come true. Finally reason behind all the madness.

Hehe. watched the Ashcroft appointment speech. Bush lost his line of reasoning so many times during the question session, he had to end it before embarassing himself too much. I think someone asked him about foreign policy, and he said "We have to be humble" then he forgot why he said that and started saying something else, and before long there was no way to figure out what the hell he was saying and he stopped the questions. And that guy will solve our education problems. Haha.

Hmmm, it's apparently ok to call Pres. Elect Bush an idiot, but not the person who posts such drivel, interesting.

my wife got this quote emailed to her off of one of her many lists she belongs to. I told her it was bunk. She looked for about 30 minutes tryint to find any reference to Village idiot and Nostr. and didnt pull up anything.. *rolling eyes*

Stoneythug, you are an example of the mentally challenged people that need to be protected from this form of humor. You actually believe these lies.

ouch etech, that really hurt. As mentally challenged as I am, I could still beat mr dubya in an IQ test(but then I guess so could a dead piece of wood so that's no great feat)

I don't know why republicans take it so seriously. We are not calling all republicans dumbas$es, just George W Bush and the ones who voted for him 🙂

I know. Some people act like he is their golden god and saving grace. He's just a politician folks...

I guess some people have to live vicariously through the accomplishments of others.

Anyways, I can't stand political debate threads, which this is swiftly becoming , so I'm outta here.

Hehe, this is what the quote was

<<
To an old leader will be born an idiot heir,

weak both in knowledge and in war.

The leader of France is feared by his sister,

battlefields divided, conceded to the soldiers.
>>

To an old leader?(Bush Sr.) Idiot heir(take a wild guess).

The US could be the sister that fears the leader of France.

Wow etech, look I believe this one now too. I'm even more mentally challenged then you originally thought!
