wtf does it matter?

See, what would happen is we would hold him as an enemy combatant and then the libs would cry bloody murder because OUR constitutional rights have not been extented to him...so really, for Bush it would have been a no win situation.

So instead of being concerned with what did happen, we should be concerned with what might have happened?

Uh no. I don't think anyone is going to cry foul when they're are very probable known links to terrorismn instead of lies/oversight in linking certian countries *cough* to terrorismn.

I think it is a safe bet that this guy was guiltier than 90% of the people imprisoned at Guantonamo Bay Cuba.

Gee, really? You mean the ones we captured in a WAR in Afghanistan?

Yeah, I mean enemy combatants on the battlefield always deserve the benefit of the doubt, not like this guy, we KNOW he is guilty.

The ONLY reason you feel he is guilty is due to publication of details obtained by our intelligence which is the SAME intelligence used to imprison those in Cuba BUT since the libs feel they are held unconstitutionally the intelligence is flawed.... since we let this guy go, NOW the CIA and FBI are doing thier job and Bush just let this guy slip through the cracks....makes sense:disgust:
