What if the Israeli's gave the Palestineans living in Israel (not the occupied territories) full citizenship including the right to vote?
Roughly 20% of Israel's citizens are Arabs, and they can vote and hold elected offices. This is part of the problem with the so-called "right of return" issue. If it were granted, and the eligible Palestinians did return, it would mean either the end of Israel as a Jewish state, or the end of Israel as a democracy.
Is it really a Democracy if the majority or a larg4e minority of those who live there (assuming that the majority or large minority of the people who live there are disenfranchised Arabs) haven't the right to vote?

I know the US grabs it's ankles anytime Israel pleases but I wonder perhaps Bush is more forceful in private.

Go troll somewhere else.

I don't speak internet, sorry.

Israeli Arabs have a right to vote, and they do. There are Arab parties in the Kenesset, with Arab representatives. Thing is, alot of Arabs refuse to have anything to do with the Israeli government, and they won't vote in an election.

You never cease to amaze me with how idiotic you are Bugs. Please stop soiling this forum with your ignorant drivel. If you need to spout off with your religious bigotry and historical ignorance, do it elsewhere - as long as you continue to post utter crap, you will continue to be viewed as a hopelessly brainwashed moron.

Please, just stfu.

Did you read what I posted, or are you under the mistaken impression that there is a large population of people living in Israel that are not citizens?

Are there enough Arabs living in Isael how have the opportunity to become citizens and vote to actually be influential in the way the Government is run?

Sure, if they'd want to vote. They don't. They refuse to have any part of the Israeli government. However, it does get touchy when the Arab representatives start heckling in the Kenesset sessions (which they do, but so do alot of others), and they introduce and vote for things which are obviously not in the best interests of the country.

20% is a pretty substantial minority, don't you think? Is the black vote significant in the US?

You are a troll aren't you? Destroying Islam? Hahahaha. Yeah right troll

Civilized socities try to fix the problem no matter what the problem is, not destroy it. Obviously you don't know anything about political/historical influences/incidents in Middle East so maybe you should just shut up and go back into the small cave you got out of?

Also, regarding your words in bold, explain to me how Islam makes U.S. their enemy. Open up their Holy Book and find the exact clause. If you can't, STFU and leave these forums.

So . . . you hate Israel's leaders for assassinating the leader of the terrorist group responsible for organizing and perpetuating hundreds of attacks on Israeli civilians? You make me sad . . . very sad . . . and sick.
