...not soon enough.

... didn't mean it.

...didn't give sound bite I was looking for.

...didn't admit he was involved in the mistreatment.

...didn't resign.

...didn't fire Rumsfeld.

Glad he did, but it makes no difference either way.

Actions, not words are what I will weigh.

This wasn't the song everyone was singing at his last press conference...

And now he should prove it. Court marshall and jail every one involved in the mistreatment of POWs.

You do realize that very few Arabs even trust A OCCUPYING Military anyways..

Has he apologized for all of the civilians killed during Shock And Awe?

If all the prisoners in US jails who commited atrocious acts say sorry, should we release them?

You are an ASSHAT for the century. Congrats.

An apology is not going to be enough. The US may never recover from the damage done to the it's cerdiblity.

well the part that there seems to be no consequences and hardly any accountability for anything no matter what anyone in the admin or near the admin screws up so no that is not enough

Why do Bush cheerleaders find appeasement such an admirable quality?

When you "decide" to wait to do something for a day, a week, a month or a year after you already do something else, we aren't exactly talking about the most decisive and heart-felt things.

He had his chance to apologize on Arab TV or before it, when he first found out about the pictures.

Bush only told Jordan's King that he was sorry and mentioned that in a press conference. He didn't apologize to the Iraqis.

Admitting he and his administration was dead wrong is a good start.

Now he should resign-- so as to let the preparations begin to repair the damage--and get our military the F-out of Iraq.

Would not matter, only thing that matters is the agenda of the Bush Haters...

I'm inclined to believe, by your response, that either you have no idea or you do but would rather not say. ;)
