Bush sacrifices for the war.

In a tremendous show of sacrifice and solidarity Bush decided the following in 2003:

In an interview with the political newspaper Politico and Yahoo News, Bush also said he gave up golf in 2003 out of respect for U.S. soldiers killed in the war, which has now lasted more than five years.

GOLF. He sent people off to die, and decided that he should probably try to show some respect so he STOPS PLAYING GOLF. If anyone, anywhere needs a better sign as to exactly what this moron thinks about the seriousness of what he's done, and how much he cares about it... this is it.

This presidency has to be a joke, this has to be some sort of elaborate practical joke that someone is playing on us. There's no way this country could have elected a leader twice that is this incredibly stupid.

lol epic

Can't say I'm surprised to hear this from the guy who said this:

'I must say, I'm a little envious. If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed. It must be exciting for you ? in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks.'

What a friggin' tool. Of course when he did have the chance to do just that he pulled strings to get into the National Guard. He is making history though. Worst ever.

Back in 2003, I remember reading a US news article that claimed that he'd given up sweets as well. I wonder if he's still holding on to that pledge?

Survey says......NEGATIVE!

Over Coke and M&Ms on Air Force One, the leader of the free world and Bob Geldof (on assignment for Time magazine) get to the dark heart of Africa. And Saint Bob says the world should give credit to Bush for what he has achieved there

If true, the best line that anyone could have ever said to GW:

I gave the president my book. He raised an eyebrow. ?Who wrote this forya, Geldof?? he said without looking up from the cover. Very dry. ?Who will you get to read it for you, Mr President?? I replied. No response.

The Most Powerful Man in the World studied the front cover: ?Geldof in Africa. The International Bestseller. You write that bit yourself??

?That?s right. It?s called marketing. Something you obviously have no clue about or else I wouldn?t have to be here telling people your Africa story!?

*Sigh* Too bad he gave up pretzels.

Seriously though, you gotta admire a man who's made such sacrifices. Perhaps he'll give up playing Candy Land next as a show of support for our brave men and women. I think in a universe of infinite possibilities, we've somehow come up with the president in the worst of all possible worlds.

He probably gave up golf after seeing himself in that Michael Moore flick. Geeze, he sure looked like a complete tool.

"Now watch me hit this drive."

And the lemmings on the right call Obama elitist???!!!

look, our president may have been a little green, but he has a lot of drive, and balls, and seeing all the links with people teeing off on him makes me mad. He's no putz. Things are a little rough over in the Iraq sand-trap, and there is only one way to deal with it , the fair way, work together and iron out our differences.

Not that this is a first time for Bush, but he lied about the golf abstinence, because as we all know, abstinence doesn't work. There are photos of him playing golf in Oct 2003, two months after he purportedly gave up the game. Oops.

I have to admit this was one of the all time stupidest things I have ever seen uttered by any public official. Obama mentioning how he has visited all 57 states isn't far behind though......😕

I wonder what he will give up when he invades Iran? Maybe his seat as the president? That would be a start....
