So Kerry is Liberal, Bush is Neocon, what's your point???

What is your point? You posted the thread with this subtitle:
"Rove and Karen Hughes ? together used the word "liberal" nearly a dozen times to describe Kerry"

So they are calling him what he is. What's wrong with that? Why is that "more aggressive"?

I didn't write it, ask the Journalist that wrote the story.

Edit: I interjected how Bush Can't stand on his own records so can only attack Kerry.

Notice how the Bush Fanbois can't argue with that.

Does Bush have anything that even resemebles success in his Presidential resume?

Yet the senators' ratings are misleading because of the large number of votes each man missed. Mr. Kerry, for example, attended so few votes on social and foreign policy that his composite score in 2003 was based only on economic policy. Even then he was not the single most liberal senator on economic issues; it was a distinction he shared with six other senators, including Bob Graham of Florida.

Kerry was indead tied for the most liberal senator in 2003.

He can say he got rid of Saddam and it's only going to cost this country 200 billion and who knows how many thousand lives before it's all over. I guess the "conservatives" consider that a victory??

He got a tax cut for the wealthy. I guess they think that was a victory also.

He has gotten interests down to very low rates, making easier for businesses to borrow money. He only had to set record deficits to do it.

He claims he's created jobs, LMAO. The conservatives seem to point to that as a victory.

He's going to get a "liberal" elected to POTUS. I call that a victory!!

Only because the votes Kerry did cast for last year would lean that way. He was not there for voting on all issues so it's a very skewed year for him.

Man, if you can't tell the difference between Republicans of 20 years ago to today, then I feel sorry for you.

That is fine

You say you want to see how they (Congressmen) all rank on a bell curve. Hell, why not? You guys seem to think it's ok to grade your President's performance on a bell curve.

Hmmm.... since he's the only student then 10% is an A!!!!

I am using your friends sources. If you dont like them then I suggest you take it up with him.

And just why doesn't the NY Times graphic from the study done by the Brookings Institute not do the voting records justice? Your opinion?

Did you follow their source labeled at the bottom of the graph? First the link was broken, big surprise, this is the NY Times. But when you get to the base directory it links to a University of Houston run website called Voteview.

Very interesting website and that is why I think the graphic doesnt do it justice.

There are several ironies in this campaign:

1) "Why are people voting for anyone but Bush?"---when Bush's whole campaign has been, "I'm not Kerry!"

2) "Where are the details of Kerry's plans?" ---when Bush has been the most secretive President ever not even releasing details in his 4 years in office, often those details being completely incorrect. Bush speaks of a simplifying of the Tax Code without even a hint as to how it will be done, some pundits have suggested a Flat Tax, but that is pure conjecture.

3) "Kerry is gonna spend a bunch of Money!!" Tax/Spend Liberal---need more be said?

To your credit, the graphic did have a "." at the end of that link with the URL. Perhaps you tried to cut-n-paste that whole line?

That's his own problem. Doesn't change the fact that the Repub's claims are factually correct.
