Bush Lied

etch has claimed that John Kerry is a liar. You know what, I hate liars. :|

Although etech's sole example of Kerry's mendacity seems more like a misguided generalization than an outright lie, it troubles me nonetheless.

I don't want a liar in the White House. The only way I'll even consider voting for Kerry is if it can be proven that Bush is a much bigger liar.

I propose that this thread and etech's thread be continued through the election. Here, we will document the lies of George Bush. There, they will document the lies of John Kerry.

May the bigger liar lose!

While Bush has well proven himself the shadiest of shaders, he has also outright lied plenty of times. Just watch this space and learn.

Umm.. I thought parody threads were not allowed? Seems to me when conservatives have started similar threads, even if they were legitimate topics, they were locked. There really should be some consistency here.

I'm just saying the mods have locked similar threads to this in the past.. only difference being they were started by conservatives.. I'll search to see if I can find them to prove my point..

Umm. This is not a parody thread. Bush may well be a parody President, but his multitude of lies and obsfucations are all too real. They will be totaled up here, and you can total Kerry's in etech's thread, and we will all then know who is the bigger liar.

What eagle said. No politician will admit to lying so this thread is a lost cause.

But concerning the 'parody' threads, the mentioned posts got locked because a certain person or two would create up 5 different threads each in direct opposition to the original thread - all within 5 minutes.

Putting 'List of Bush Lies' in google brings up 704,000 its. Searching 'List of Kerry Lies' brings up 240,000 hits. That means that Bush is 2.933333 times a bigger liar than Kerry, no?

BTW Clinton saying he didnt have sexual relations was a lie. Relaying what your intelligence community is telling you is not a lie.

how can you state that as fact? please provide links to cia reports provided to bush that show them saying they have no doubt. all evidence points to the cia having great reservations about their sources and their information.

You're correct, I can't prove that the CIA told him that, just as you cannot prove that they didn't. If you are accusing him of being a liar, the burden of proof rests with you. Which evidence points to the CIA having reservations? And that they passed on these reservations to the President?
