I don't know that I'd agree with that, but MSNBC has to have one of the most left leaning audiences.

After the Cheney/Edwards debate all my liberal buddies were bringing in MSNBC results the next day touting Edwards the clear winner by something like 75% to 25%.

yes, the 3rd Bush/Kerry debate did pretty much the same thing 80% for Kerry as the winner, when here on AT it was more of an even 50/50 bit.
 
I find it amusing how divided Americans are with regards to political party affiliation. I'm sure people kill each other over it.

no kidding, I know a lady who'd vote democrat even if the presedential running person was jeffrey dauhmer. I vote for who I think would do a better job (or at least the guy who would screw up less)

It's funny you say that, it's actually regarded as a 'hate crime' in U.S. law to intimidate, harm, kill or rape someone based on their political affiliation. That category is buried there under all the other ones like race, sex, age, nationality, religion, etc.

I found that rather interesting.

I hope for a day, within my lifetime, where party affiliations are nullified. 4 candidates would be chosen by the house of reps, of those 4, 2 of them are chosen by the senate, then a national popular vote decides which one wins (no electoral college).
