If you watch the actual video, I don't see that he did anything wrong, though he would probably have been better off not trying to provide specific info that he didn't know about. That young woman has an odd accent - she sounds Australian, which would be strange indeed.

If he did that, you'd be criticizing him for not visiting the Gulf, as many others here have done many times in the last few days.

I don't think President Bush has handled this optimally, and God knows FEMA hasn't. I'd say the same thing of the leadership in Louisiana. That said, it appears, to borrow a phrase, that help is on th way, and I see no point in these kinds of partisan attacks.
