I kinda liked it, even though I somewhat support bush.
If repost, i'm sorry.

But Bush's comments of late about Senate Democrats and national security have come in the context of the fight over legislation for the proposed Department of Homeland Security . The Bush comment about the Senate not being "interested" in national security came at a campaign event Monday in New Jersey when the president was talking about the legislation -- not Iraq.

Wow, bush could feel some backlash on this.
Agreed. My old speech teacher would weep if Daschle was in her class.Originally posted by: SaltBoy
Regardless of whether it was accurate or not, he sure is a powerful speaker (no pun intended).

Daschle is just being a weeeee bit hypocritical when he accuses President Bush of "politicizing the war"
Hey glad you could make your way to the forums Mr. Gore. Now, STFU until you know what you are talking about.Originally posted by: Tripleshot
I wonder why this is just now becoming a revelation to some of you. Bush has been on the campaign trail for this upcoming election, raising an unbelievable 115 million for GOP candidiates on tax payer dollars, covering with some photo op and public announcement at every visit to some fund raiser acrossthe nation.
Bush is abosolutely politisizing this war effort against Saddam and Al Quada because of the dismal mess he has made with domestic issues such as the economy.
He is the most embarrasing President I have seen at times. Sometimes he is on que (and then you wonder who his speech writers are), and others he is a loose cannon, shooting from the hip and exposing his utter ignorance of the important issues facing this country.
What a legacy he will have.![]()

Ribbett....ribbett.... I don't mind people speaking in opposition as long as they are well informed and not just spouting off. I'm myopic? Try looking in the mirror pal.....Anytime you feel froggy, motormouth, just jump. You are the last person to tell me to STFU. You would like that though , like all GOP myopic Limburger clones who are apposed to allowing anyone speak in oppisition to your way of thinking.
Oh I dunno....just a little thing about missile technology, or maybe it was the satellite technology, or could it have been all the shady Chinese characters he took campaign money from.....hard to remember.....And why don't you elabarate a bit on Clinton Selling out to the Chinese. seems to me Bush and Nixon made a few vists there selling out the US long before Clinton goton the scene. But you are just a drone spouting off the same crap we ahave heard ad naseum for years.
Hard to be original when all of Clinton's foibles have been well documented in the press. How about I just say that I have about as much respect for him as I do an inanimate carbon rod or maybe a bowl of Jell-OTry being a little more original.
Are you looking at my bum?Oh, and I'm glad to be here, although I have work to do more important than arguing with your silly ass.![]()
I really don't see that happening. He's too much of a lightning rod to even get uniform support from democratic voters, much less any crossover from GOP voters. It would be a wast of time for him to run. Besides, he seems to kinda relish being the Dem version of Newt with regard to teeing off on the Prez at every opportunity.Originally posted by: CPA
And everyone keep in mind, this speech is nothing more than Daschle warming up for his bid at the 2004 presidential election.
