The only problem with that logic Ornery is Bush didn't beat anyone...he was appointed.

You're absolutely right. He was appointed by the voting population of the United States of America.

No Viper, he was elected by the Republican Supreme Court, after being appointed by the Limbaugh National Comittee. I guess you just want to forget about the fact that the American people said they wanted Gore, by better than 200,000:Q

Yeah but the Electors are what matter.

I don't think you really want to argue on the basis of "THE AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW BEST." If that's the case then please explain the popularity of Friends to me because that load of crap does not represnt the best of anything.

With all of the Republican trolling you do, I'd say there is hardly any call for you to complain. But then again, I could be wrong.

And I guess you forgot about the fact that the framers of the US Constitution didn't give the office of President to the winner of the popular vote.

Gore lost, he conceded, & is now politically dead.

Get used to it.

Gore lost.

Bush won.

Accept defeat and spend your time doing better things other than ridiculing Bush, which if I suspect, won't bring Gore back.

noproblems - because of the electoral college method (and the tv reporting the night of the election), the popular vote really isn't an accurate guide to the general will in such close situations. i live in texas, the outcome of voting in this state was a given, frankly it was pointless for me to go vote. not only that, but imagine a bush supporter in the west sees the networks give florida to gore immediately after the close of polls there. at that point bush people figured it would be almost impossible to win the election, so maybe, disheartened, they didn't vote. given that this would be an expected outcome of the circumstance of the last presidential election, its easy to see how the popular vote is not an accurate measure.

Your basis for bashing Bush was shot down. Looking at Clintons long long list of, at best, questionable activities, I think there's a significant basis for bashing him. Ditto for Gore and Jesse Jackson.

What "basis" for bashing Bush...all that I said is he is a puck: which he is. Oh, I suppose you would like to contend he really does have a brain?

This list you speak of is nothing more than the product of the "Republican Propaganda Machine," a group of backwards thinkers whom Hitler's propaganda machine would have respected for their creative use of the truth. Thankfully, the American public saw right through most of it.

What does it mean: "Bush is Puck"

Is this new Anandtecher, like "NEF" and "is Suck"???

Why don't we all just start a troll thread about ATI Radeon vs. GeForce2

Yeah...it was the Republicans that caused Clinton to be the sleazebag he is. I'm sure they were even there helping him bag up the white house silverware.

idiot!
