So much for the war on terror.
Otto Reich is a rightwing Cuban American whose key policy objective is the overthrow of Fidel Castro's regime and whose support base is the Cuban-American community in Florida. President Bush's brother, Jeb, is depending on this community's votes and backing as he runs for re-election as governor of the state later this year.
Reich also served as US ambassador to Venezuela and was alleged to have used his influence to try and get a US visa for a convicted terrorist, Orlando Bosch, jailed in Venezuela in 1976 for the bombing of a Cubana airliner with 73 people on board. Bosch had already been convicted of a terrorist attack in Miami on a Polish merchant vessel bound for Cuba and jailed in the US.
Amazingly, Bosch was granted a pardon by George Bush senior in 1990 and is now in Florida, apparently untroubled by the current president's commitment to rooting out terrorism in all its forms. Although many countries seek Bosch's extradition he remains free, protected by the same government that warns other countries that they are either for or against terrorism
Source

This guy is the worst terrorist ever, maybe second only to Bin Laden, and he is walking free in Florida. Is this how bush protects the US from terrorism?

I heard Bush also made the economy tank early in his term, then he pushed the anti-recession button so that the economy will swing back towards the end of the term...

This way he can win the election with a majority of the votes this time.

Bush it doing a whole lot better terrorist-stomping than any democrat could do, if only he would give us back our civil rights!! :p

OK first off we hate the commies remember? Our government has been trying to overthrow castro for years. ANd what terrorisim is, is actually subjective. And please be sure to list the murder's, and worse criminals that clinton pardoned before he left office. I think he set some kind of record.
Im tired of this politics crap. Bush is slowing if not stopping terrorisim across the globe, hes going after osama, because clinton wouldn't and as we all know he overthrew saddam. We are currently working peacefully(per the complaining from the left) on the situation in N korea. No one made a big deal about the blocking of the judges in the senate, whats the use the american public is so misinformed.

wow...and you're one of those idiots in favor of this intangible war on terrorism, even though you understand the definition to be subjective.

Just because you know verbs and nouns doesn't mean your political opinion is anymore informed then mine.

PS: I was pretty tired when I wrote it so I didn't proof read it....and I'm not proof reading this either. :)

You just haven't been affected personally yet, give it time.

You have a gun? You obviously don't live in California or New York then.

I am curious. Subjective? Does that mean if "our" guy does it, that's ok?

Also, you state that Bush is slowing terrorism. Have you read the world headlines? I see no evidence that terrorism is slowing in the least. If anything, it seems to be on the rise. Maybe I am wrong here. Point me to facts with credible numbers showing me I am wrong.

Bosch was a cohort of Posada Carriles, a Cuban pediatrician who became a world renowned terrorist for the CIA. Carriles has taken claim for the recent wave of hotel bombings in Havana, Cuba. Both men were trained together at Fort Benning, Georgia. Bosch was the founder of the "Command of the United Revolutionary Organizations" formed to cooperate with the DINA Chilean secret police and other Latin American repressive organisms in the murder of leftists throughout the region, including the assassination of the Chilean ambassador, Letelier, in Washington, DC.

How unfortunate we are that no one will come and "liberate" the US and shut down the terrorist training camps.

Source

It is sickening that the US allows this pile of trash to walk around free just so Jeb boy can have a corner on the anti-Castro Cuban vote in florida.
More about Bosch

The US, and the Bush family, do not hold the moral high ground when it comes to Saddam.

FACT:
The US has stockpiled, used, and distributed WMDs in the past.

FACT:
The US harbors and trains terrorist.

FACT:
The US is an aggressor nation and has invaded and occupied 2 countries over the past 2 years.

Aren't these similar to claims made about Iraq? Doesn't this make the US a terrorist state? Welcome to the US of H, the United States of Hypocrisy. One nation under a big frigging lie.

Typical american response. Let me guess, you can't spell or pronounce Bosch and you can't find Cuba on the map as well. If Bin Laden was skipping around France all you bush loving, Fox news watching morons would be screaming for French blood, but no one gives a damn that one of the worst terrorist ever is US trained, pardoned by the US, was released from jail due to US pressure and is currently living in the US.

We don't hate the commies. They are just the antipode of everything America stands for.

And you are the perfect example of what is wrong with america.

VioletAura, you are the pefect example of what is wrong with this world. America, despite its flaws, will always be better and smarter than whatever piss-poor country you are from. I have nothing more to say, you bastard (yes, you are eliciting an emotional response from me, which is quite rare indeed).

Where did I say it was bad or had to be stopped? That's right, I didn't. I guess this is just your usual attack on things I don't write.

I'm glad you enjoyed the site. I will be updating it soon, and I'm sure it will be right up your alley. I was thinking of having a a flash intro as a tribute to Rush... you know, with stars and stripes, some patriotic music, and of course lots of Rush quotes. After all, since I have link to his site, I must be a Rush-loving, neo-con dittohead.

Well thank the gods you finally admitted it. Although really, it was painfully obvious to everyone. :p

Perhaps you might consider as part of your update for Rush a psychadelic theme with Skulls in Joker hats and spinning mushrooms, and maybe hypodermic needles marching to the beat of a steady drum, perhaps off a cliff? If that's too much then maybe just a "get well soon" will do, but definately throw in the marching needles :D
