Bush Daughter Bust a Publicity Stunt???

Doesnt look like a set-up....they may have reacted differently, but they didnt offer to sell her a fake ID then bust her for using it. She still broke the law, they just blew it up because of who she was.

Yea the diner guy set them up with the fake ID. Gimme a break. Good way to put a spin on the lush bunny from the Whitehouse. Blame it on somebody else. The skank probably needs help........................like daddy did 🙂.

Yeah, Classy. You never had a drink before you were 21. :::eyeroll:::

I don't buy that they were setup, but Chuy's did seem to take advantage of the situation. I don't think I've ever known a restaurant to call the cops to bust a minor.

Maybe I'm taking this the wrong way, but it seems unfair to call her a skank for doing something most normal teens do.

Reputable or not, it doesn't seem right to call the cops and then the press just because you just busted the President's daughters rather than the thousands of other UT students involved in underage drinking.

Yep, when you have no argument, attack the source instead of the claim... oh, and provide no evidence for this, while you're at it.

:disgust:

oh geez... just because they're the president's daughter, they can get away with crime and have other's rights to freedom of press & speech repressed... typical religous reactionary republican right thinking

I'm not religious, nor am I republican. Try again.

However, isn't it funny that a restaurant right next to a college has NEVER called the cops (much less the press) on a fake ID, until the daughters of a president from the political party the restaurant owners oppose try it?

Well, if we learned anything from the Clinton years it's that Americans are willing to put up with flaws in the first family. I say just treat them like everyone else and let their parents deal with it.

Classy living up to that handle again.

A set-up? I doubt it. More like teenage stupidity. No one ever claimed that Jenna was a brilliant one -- she's proving that.

Any way you look at it ...

HA! Anyone who has kids realize that some day they will probably try to get drinks when they are not of legal age. If anyone is too blind to realize that the U.S. president's kids are still kids and think their own kids will always be angels ... then I LMAO at them!

What aggrivates me is the moron called 911. Why? It wasn't like the girls were robbing, killing, mutilating or being viscious monsters. Maybe annoying but that is what bouncers are for. If a person needs the cops, call the cops. Use 911 for EMERGENCIES!

It drives me nuts thinking someone having a heart attack may have had problems getting through to 911 because morons like that are taking up the lines. :disgust:

<< amused... it's still their right and OBLIGATION to do so. >>

Meaningless. They were singled out because of their father's job. We're not talking rights here, Wedesdo, we're talking motivation for extraneous action.

Alright, you can blame the restaurant, but that still doesn't justify what Jenna did, ESPECIALLY after she got caught a month before and ESPECIALLY because her father is an 'upstanding and moral' (haha) republican.

Your still mad your little man didn't win...Period...

and going after the Daughters just show how low they'll go..

Yes, Jenna's actions were illegal, I agree. However, to single her out in an attempt to attack her father is ridiculous. And to judge her for her father's beliefs or actions is even more ridiculous.

<< Yeah that's my agenda.

Newsmax.com sure doesn't seem too conservative
>>

Yep, which is why I posted the link to the Houston Chronical as an alternate source.

Again, attacking the source is a fallacious argument.
>>

LOL, you think the HOUSTON Chronical is a good source as well? LMAO
>>

Apparently you have no idea what a fallacious argument is. I do note, however, that once you stopped attacking the source, and the girl's father, you did admit the restaurant acted extraneously and with bias. Funny how with all your attacks, insults, bitching and moaning, you finally agreed with me.

Was it worth all that wasted energy?

Look, the point is, you and i have a different standards when looking for sources. If you want to believe everything that is printed on the Internet, then fine. I try to scrutinize everything i read.
