That isn't coke! It's dingle-berry powder from sticking his nose up Cheney's ***. :)

Dingleberry, how interesting. This is a term I learned in the Boy Scouts and I always assumed it was somewhat ideomatic. Therefore, when Chess9 used, I was surprised and decided to look it up. The definition that I expected, and with which Chess is obviously familiar, wasn't in the 25 lb. Miriam Webster that I use. This was not totally unexpected. I thought you might want to expand your spheres of knowledge. So here's the definition.

(1) A shrub Vaccinium erythrocarpas [no reference to the President intended, that's what the dictionary says];
(2) the globese dark red edible berry of the dingleberry.

Stand in awe.

Witling:

Nice, nice. :)

I was using the idiomatic version I also learned in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts (12 years worth, which explains a lot :) )

But your find is far funnier.

THE SHRUB!

Bwuahahahaha!

That's the new and improved Red that 'rips people for stupid humor'. This was created by "retro Red!" :)

You know, I find myself too pissed about increased farm subsidies, increased welfare spending, his Amnesty plan, his catering to old people's desire to shackle others to pay for their medical costs and so on to give a damn whether he snorted a few lines 30 years ago.

Good god, people, there are SO many more important issues. It's like during Clinton's presidency when everyone was so keen on whether he banged (insert name here) or not that they completely ignored the fact that he was ignoring the multiple terrorist attacks perpetrated by bin Laden and his gang of thugs against American citizens at home at abroad. People are stupid.

Wow, how ironic; many of the "troll" police posted in this thread....how fitting.
WTF is a matter with you? This thread was obviously made in jest and in response to that picture of Kerry and Fonda together. I'm not accusing Bush of doing lines and even if he did in his youth I couldn't care less.

Frankly I don't believe any of us should be pleased with the choices we have for President. Bush is just short of a Disaster and his Opponent in more than likely going to be a Mass Kennedy Liberal. I think the best reason for hoping that Bush loses would be that we'd be getting rid of Ashcroft and Bushes merry band of Neocons. As for Kerry, I believe the Republican Congress would hold him in check unlike they are doing with the Dub.

I understand the motivation behind the thread, Red--we use the same "mirror" and I see myself in you :)

My point was that the "troll" police have a good time in your threads, but insist on bashing and name calling in mine...thought that was kind of funny how that worked. It proved my hypothesis mentioned in numeroud threads--it's only "trolling" when you don't agree with it.

So back at you--"WTF is *a* matter with you?" :brokenheart:

Yeah, I agree. Clinton wasn't able to get a whole lot done after '94 once the Republicans were voted back into Congress. This may indeed be the best course of action.

I must say that Gaard's photo and Witling's discovered irony filled definition brought a bright and toothy smile to my face. Good work fellas........
