poll results

yeah...i can already predict the liberals..

"i don't believe that poll"
"that's a conservative hack polling firm..numbers fabricated"
"i just know that Kerry is ahead of Bush, i can feel it!"

if i left any rebuttals out.i'm sure you will enlighten me..

I conducted my own poll too, HS. With an error rate of +/- 3% my cat, my neighbor's dog, and two co-workers demonstrated that Kerry trounced Bush 75% to 25% if the election were held today. I can't vouch for my neighbor's republican dog, he's a complete tool.

polls will fluctuate. It also depends on sampling size for turnout i.e. more repubs or more democrats.
I have mixed feelings about automated computer polling as it is least well tested/known than conventional calling methods.

This poll was conducted by a computer.
The best way for a single guy to choose the result without testimonies.
Computerized polls are absolutely necessary for Diebold to choose the result of the Presidential election. The polls by Fox are just as useful.
If there were only honest polls made by human beings, the discrepancy between the result chosen by Diebold in november and the polls before would be too huge and visible.
Bush is your dictator. Only a revolution can change the course of US history.

i dunno, if you look at the day-by-day stats this poll has bush leading the entire time. I know many polls which have shown Kerry to have a 6-10 % lead over Bush in these past few weeks. Whatever the case, they are pretty much neck and neck at this point.

it will probably be much like the last elections, very close and hopefully florida wont screw it up again 😉

That poll seems more realistic to me. I think Bush will win by 3-5 points. It will be close, but barring anything unusual he will pick up 5 points just for being the incumbent. He will pick up another 5 points because of national security concerns. But, if the economy goes in the tank he is toast.

I don't see how the Dems will beat him.

Of course, I will try to vote twice while pretending I'm living in Chi town. 🙂

And, even if I die before I vote I WILL VOTE! 🙂

People are so naive.
I polled people and when I got fed up I filled the answers myself, sitting at a table on the terrace of a bar, with a friend who was doing the same.
The poll business is not an honest business. As it was proved in France many times, pollsters change the results if they do not fit the expectancies of their clients, or their own bias.
Polls are part of a large war to influence the minds of the people, along with ads, marketing, corrupt media,...

When Edwards and Kerry get through with each other it will be Bush in a cakewalk.

I can't wait to see the Edwards campaign get off thier "positive campaign" message and ATTACK Kerry (in self defense of course).

I disagree 😉

McCain and Bush was vicious. Remember all the phone calls to voters. Although I do not approve of the tactic, people expect candidates in primaries to try to eat their own. Nasty business.

Bigger threat than K and E are to each other is Nader IMO.

It doen't matter if it was Bush 90% Kerry 10% or Kerry 90% Bush 10%, It is way to early for poles to mean anything and besides that we don't even know if Kerry is going to be the one that runs right now

Agreed, Nader will definately draw support from the democratic base. I still say though that both Kerry and Edwards want to be president :in the worst way" and will eventually resort to personal attack. I could however be wrong, as I was wrong once before 😉

And what about the margin of error of each of these polls. 3% or 4%.
Even by taking this margin into account, you can mathematically see that some of these polls are falsified, because the difference between the scores of Kerry is superior to twice this margin of error.
Who here did study the mathematics of polls? I did.
