bus driver charged with assault on 15 year old girl

I don't know what I'm more upset about; the bus driver assaulting the girl, the girl being charged for creating a disturbance or the union saying they support the bus driver.

So, the union rep says he stands behind the bus driver, but then says this behaviour is not a true reflection of the bus driver or bus drivers in general and he doesn't condone her actions.

Which is it?

buss driver should be fired and charged. Any charges against the girl should be dropped.

She started laughing when the bus driver went off on the other kid. If that happened to one of my friends I would be laughing too. Bus driver went off on her for cracking a joke on her friend.

Then she talked some smack afterwards.

I'm not saying bus driver wasn't on a powertrip, but if the girl learned to shut her mouth when it comes to adults in general, this wouldn't have happened.

Roll your eyes at the stupid bus driver and continue on with your life.

Uh, no. Since when does saying something, laughing, or even "creating a disturbance" if the allegation is true justify assault?

Driver should be fired and in jail. Idiot unions, protecting the bad apples as always.

Understand this and understand it well: This situation would not have occurred if the stupid girl didn't talk smack.

If she stopped laughing and walked off everything would be fine. I'm willing to bet even if she continued laughing and walked off everything would be fine. The moment you talk smack to an idiot with a power trip is the tipping point.

It's playing with a tiger. Why would you do that? She is the entire reason the situation escalated. Fin.

The little girl stuck up for herself to a bully, which is what she should have done.

I'm not defending the bus driver man. Understand that. By all means lock her up and throw away the key. But if your son did that, your SON needs to learn some shit about what not to do in life. DONT talk back to people. DONT do stupid shit and these things won't happen.

It's like a bully is right in front of your son poking him. Does calling the bully a fatass make ANY sense? No. Your son would (hopefully) be smart enough to keep his mouth shut to avoid any further escalation. That doesn't justify said bully's action, but it doesn't justify your son's either if he does escalate. Both parties are just as guilty at that point.

My son would punch the bully in the mouth and I would take him out to dinner for doing so.
 
Bus driver needed to show restraint.
Kids always have and always will talk back and push your limits.
You can't physically assault them for talking back to you.
