amazing Idea. I cured a gunshot wound the same way.

Shot yourself from the other side to counteract it? Interesting idea..

My friend, got sprayed by his friend VERY bad once. His whole forearm was burned and all the skin peeled off and such. It was disgusting. He was a weird kid and so he'd always show it off and stuff just to freak people out. It took like the whole school year to heal and it still looks gross where it healed 'cause it's all scarred up. Do those cans have warning things on them?? Why does it happen when you flip the can?
Aerosol cans use a highly compressed gas as propellant. When positioned right-side-up, the liquid is at the bottom and the gas is at the top. A tube from the top to the bottom of the can is sealed by a valve, which is opened when you push on the button at the top. The gas exerts pressure on the liquid, and the liquid goes up the tube to be aerosolized when it exits the nozzle.

When you flip it, the gas is at the top, and it goes out the tube when you push the button. Because it's at room temperature and very high pressure, when it comes out, it'll be at normal pressure and very low temperature (gas law).

Spray your coworker in the gonads next time you get a chance. And fsck the compressed air - use a nylon paintbrush. Won't get rid of all the dust, but it'll make it decent and you don't risk freezing the components to death. If it did that to your HAND, imagine how all those tight little motherboard traces felt getting hit with cold air and contracting.

So any idea what these tiny little itchy bumps are now surrounding the area that got frozen?

Drink alcohol, lots and lots of alcohol :) Either that or cut off one of your toes, and the pain from that will be so bad you wont even care about a little burn.
