Burnt CD's don't work...

Music Cd's burnt in my Plextor work in every cd player I have but not in my friends Sony 10-CD stacker installed in his truck, why?

Some CD players are real picky about the type of media used. Try using a different dye type and see if that works with his player...
Definitely not the problem of your burner or blank CD's since they work fine everywhere except for your friend's...

Yep, definitely the changer's fault, not your burner or the CDR's. There are just some drives and players that do not like certain types of CDR's, my DVD drive, for example, will not recognize older Memorex CDR's, but now that Memorex uses a different dye, it will take Memorex CDR's. The best CDR's I have found for compatability are Imation, but that's just my experiences. Try a different brand of CDR, or if all else fails get some of the Kodak Gold CDR's, they are supposed to be the best from what I hear.

OK Thanks guys, the media is a real cheap off brand someone gave me. Name on it is GAT. I'll get better and try again

I've found that burning at a slower speed is required to get the discs to work in various players. I have to burn at 1x on my Yamaha CDRW to get my Toyota cd player to work with them.
