I actually think that was kind of cool... It was obvious they didn't give a crap about the car lol. I guess they fried a turbo but... yeah.

Traction control systems, in addition to braking via ABS, have full control over auto trans gear selection, ignition timing, fuel injection, and throttle opening (if applicable such as TC equipped throttle bodies or fly by wire throttle). There can't be too much power when they control the power in the first place. 😉

Oh jesus. They can run decent once in a while, but never for very long. I've seen sooooooooo many failed Eclipses it's not even funny. Glass trannies, sub-par CV axles, grenaded heads, and the infamous crankwalk. IMHO the very existence of now-affordable used WRX's mean nobody should go through the hell of Eclipse/Talon crap.
