Burning w/ Nero Problem!!

Ok, please bear with me as I explain this convoluted problem.

I used Plextor Manager 2000's MVP 2000 to burn MP3's to CDRs without problems. The burned CDRs play/work in everything, both front & rear CD players in my vehicle, the kid's personal CD players & decks, home stereo and PCs without any problems.

I download and tried Nero 5.5.8.2 and it seemed to work great, just as everybody said it would. One problem tho! The front CD player in my vehicle cannot read any CDs burned w/ Nero. What's up with this?? I'm using the exact same CDR media and the same burner, but the CD player that can play Plextor MVP 2000 burned discs won't play the Nero burned discs. I'm stumped. I'm presently downloading the latest version of Nero and will try it again.

Also, a short time ago I tried to burn some MP3s for my wife with MVP 2000 and it was unsuccessful because:
1) MP3/WMA file found - decode speed test needed
2) [ERROR] C:\Chicago - Just You and Me.mp3 has an unsupported sample rate: 48000
3) [ERROR] There are files with unsupported sample rates or bits per sample - can't continue.

What can I do about these problems? I've never experienced any of these before.

Appreciate any help or advice. Thanks!

Did you remember to close the session on the music CDs or using no multisession to burn them?

Did you bought the software or are you still in demo mode???

I'm not sure what you mean by close the session exactly? Could you explain further please? It test writes, then it writes and the burner tray pops open when it's done.

Yes it is the latest demo version, 5.5.9.0

I mean the "Finalize CD option" that you get in the Burn tab!!
Music cds have to be finalized, ended or wathever you want to call it!!

And the question about the demo is if you using a serial number or if your still in demo mode!!

It's a demo version w/o a serial number. I'd buy it if I knew it would make a difference for sure.

I never saw anything about finalizing the burn. I'll look for it & see what I can find.

The newer demo verssion of Nero made no difference.

I don't know what the he!! you're talking about when you mention closing the session. I see no reference or option to close session. The Nero burned CD works in every single CD player we own as a family except the CD player in the front of my vehicle. Makes no sense to me!

Could it be from over burning?

Audio CDs are either DAO (disk at once) or mixed mode, in which case only data tracks could be still opened.
I doubt it's the finalize deal-io.

As for your problem: Try to burn at a lower speed. Nero may address your CD-burner slightly differently, and together with high speeds and a not quite spec CD-reader this can be a problem. Lower burning speeds may rectify that.

LOL, useful post bozo!

In Nero - are you using the Wizard or (for lack of better term) the "Classic" interface to burn your CD's.
If it's the Wizard - it will finalize any Audio CD's you burn automatically.
If it's the Classic - you might need to click the "burn" tab (before you start to burn) & on that tab there will be a checkbox that says "Finalize CD" make sure it's checked.
