I've heard that burning color printed paper, etc. in a fireplace is a bad idea because of the toxic inks. Question is, what is and what isn't safe to burn in my fireplace? For instance, I have an HP4M laserjet printer and I throw out a lot of pages sometimes. Is the toner toxic?

Why don't you find someplace to recycle your damn paper, instead of screwing up the environment :|

I hope you were trying to be funny. Otherwise, that was completely uncalled for. I didn't do it, I was just asking if it was alright? Obviously, if it is toxic, I'd be the person poisoned first. Not what I want.

They're probably sensitive documents.:)
No, no, nothing sensitive here. I'm just cold and need something to burn, OK? Yeah, I can recycle it, and I always do. I just wondered if it was OK to burn it. A serious question sometimes deserves a serious reply. Knightbreed did provide one and a link and I'm about to check it out. Muse out.
