Thanks for the deal! Got one today! Whew, took a while lugging it home and setting it up. Only thing bad about this deal was that the Sears people scratched up my car trying to load the TV in. :|

I purchased the TV (brand new) at Sears for $429.99 + tax (+ the optional warranty plan, the warranty plan is worth it in my opinion) There was an open box one left at Sears I believe.

Okay after using this TV for a few days, has anyone encountered any of these problems?

1. The TV randomly turns off and sometimes turns on again.
2. The TV will not turn on after you turn it off unless you unplug it and replug it back into the socket?


Or did I just receive a bad tv? My TV was purchased brand new in the box. So any input or advice? Thanks!

I have the panasonic 20" tv and the same thing happens. my friend has a similar problem too. when you turn it off, it turns back on rapidly. i've noticed it's only a problem with the remote b/c when i use my sony universal remote to turn it off, it NEVER comes back on. so it's probably a glitch.
