Burning files to disk

Is it possible to burn compressed files,eg .rar.,.zip,.etc, to disk, then transfer to another 'puter, decompress them and install the program, or do you have to do all of that stuff first?..Thanks...

Yeah, just burn the files and then copy to the new hard drive and run the install. Make sure the other puter has the decompress prog on it. If not make a self-extracting zip.

If you're asking whether or not you can burn compressed files, the answer is yes. Any type of file that aren't too large to fit onto the CD can be burned and read/copied from (most) CD-ROM drives.
