Burning dvds to work in normal dvd player

I guess this is the right forum....ok anyways how do i burn a .wmv file or .avi file onto a dvd+r so it can work in normal dvd players?

I don't know, but try posting in the software forum. Might find some help there.

You will need to convert the avi file to a mpeg2 file generally to watch it on a stand alone dvd player.
