Burner Buffer Overrun Problems??? If the disk works is it still a coaster?

Hello, i just started burning with my new a7v athlon 900 setup and i keep getting overrun problems. the burner is an acer 2/2/6 which worked fine in my old pII 266 without difficulty. i can burn the whole disk but when finished i get a message that errors occured which are burner overruns. if i take the burned disc and use it it seems to work fine.

my setup is as follows:
a7v mobo
athlon 900 not overclocked
128mb crucial
memorex 50x cd rom drive
acer 2/2/6 cdrw drive

any help would be appreciated

Move the burner to a different IDE bus than the hard drive

burner is slave on the secondary ide, hard drive is master on the ata100?
