Burn Notice

Just caught the encore of the new USA series Burn Notice. It's about some ex-Spec Ops guy who gets "burned" (disavowed) and uses his skills to help people in need in Miami. I thought the premiere was pretty good, but I wonder if they can keep it going for an extended period of time.

I did. I like it. They can keep it going. He'll do is little odd jobs and slowly work towards finding who put the notice out on him then he'll work towards finding out why, then work towards getting it fix. that's atleast a few seasons worth.

True. I suppose if FOX could stretch a prison break to two full seasons and keep a show exciting, anything is possible.

yeah and I believe prison break was supposed to only be a mini series too.

michael went from breaking out, getting away. Now he's back in jail again with some bizarre ending.

I actually liked it, but for some reason, I don't remember anything past the scene where the main character was teaching the kid how to fend of bullies. I woke up on the couch a few hours later with the TV still on. Apparently, I fell asleep, but I normally fall asleep when shows have commercial breaks. This premier was commercial free.

What happened after that scene? Did the drug dealer get back at him again? Did he end up shagging with Fiona?

I can't stand the main actor (don't know why, but I've seen him in something before), but set my dvr to record it because I saw a preview with Bruce Campbell and one of the guys from Dexter. I'll watch it when I get back from vacation next week.

I thought it was very good and hopefully they can keep it up.

On a side note I thought they extended Prison Break too much, I enjoyed the beginning but I thought the whole point was to break out. Then they did and it kept going so I stopped watching.

0-

He was on the Bruce Willis-produced Touching Evil on USA before. I liked that show. He was also in Hitch and Blair Witch 2.

Bruce Campbell FTW! The show's humor kind of agrees with me as well. I'll give it a shot, especially considering there's nothing on TV this time of year.

Gabrielle Anwar? Haven't seen her in anything since Scent of a Woman.

EDIT: I love the accent though.

so what did everyone think of episode 2? I didn't like it as much as episode one but I still really enjoyed it.

I've really enjoyed it. Very tongue-in-cheek with a nice mixture of deadpan humor, action and eye-candy.

For those who have not seen it, imagine a mix of Miami Vice, The Rockford Files and Fletch.

I caught the first two episodes on Saturday, looked like they ran them both a few times.
I really liked it. This from a guy who watches very little TV, besides documentaries and science shows.
And as for eye candy, I agree, but with me being 50 years old, Sharon Gless really got my blood pumping. (She was an absolute living doll in "Cagney & Lacey" many years ago!) Still hot in my book.
