I've never heard of Bud's.. where is it?? I don't know if Hole in the Wall is same as memphis... Man.. I told myself to stay off this post.. not even lunchtime yet and I'm fixing to start gnawing on my cup..

Bud's is a local chain of hamburger joints in New Orleans. I think there may be a few in Mississippi, too. I was just curious if you had heard of that other place, because it is almost exactly like Bud's, and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the heavenly manna that is their burgers with barbecue sauce!

Burger King is ass meat. There's a Subway about a block from me and i go there alot. Their combo prices for a 6 inch and 2 cookies (which are some kick ass cookies) and a medium drink is only like 5 dollars or less... way better than greasy burger king dung patties. Their new breads and sauces rule and you can get the bread cut any way you like. Wendy's is the best burger place too... About their cheese... it may not always be melted because they can't melt the cheese on the grill like they used to be able to. New FDA rules or something. I've never had any problems though. Double Stacks rule. Oh, and i say soda, here in upstate New York, it's split between soda and pop. Death to the pop sayers!
Subway owns! Blimpies is horrible where I live, and Quizno's is too expensive for what you get. I guess it just depends on where you live too...I have been to probably 50 subways in the past couple years and there are great ones (Manchester/270, St. Louis) and bad ones (Monticello, UT)...

The reason the cheese doesn't melt is because the patty isn't warm enough to melt it. At DQ, we throw the burgers through a chain broiler, when they come out we put the cheese on and it's melted by the time people get it...
And why doesn't anyone mention Bad Ass Jacks? They have AWESOME roast beef subs...
