I just put together a Burbie Computer for a relative and have been experiencing the following problem...

Burbie Computer Specs

Modem volume is set to off.
When online, the modem will sound off at different times.
It does not disconnect you when online but is more of a nuisance.

Any way of fixing this?

Is this a sign that the Modem is going out?

I have put together another one of these computers and have not had any problems.
