How do they know where the bunkers are hidden, the satellite images I have seen are not at such a high resolution.

I'm pretty sure we protect "how we know/"
I think we have better satelight technology than they let on, we have recon from ground troops and, maps from allies in Afganistan.

well, they can just drop one on where no living person can be seen.
that's to say people are hiding underground thus they can't be seen.
on the other hand, bombs are expensive, so we probably don't want to be too wasteful.
this whole attack thing will probably reach several hundren billion dollars after it's over.

Satelites capability has over the years been much exaggerated. Sure they can see through clouds and such but the images are alway a "simulated image" which is helpful at looking for man made type targets but not natural terrain, caves. They'll rely instead on "drones" and LRST(long rang surveillance teams) consisting of special forces on the gound.

You mean they don't have big signs on them that say "Caution! Buried Bunker! Before digging, call 1-800-Tal-i-ban"???

Good thing, then, that we were involved, because they would have gotten built with or without us. The Russian occupation wasn't just a figment of our imagination.

Drop some brand-spanking new polished clubs, whips, and nooses and see them all scurry for their new toys.

Thats exactly right. The satellite images that you and I have seen are not exactly high res.

However, I'm sure the government has plenty of satellites that could tell you if you need to cut your grass or not.
