Bungee Jumper... rope snaps, falls to crocodile infested waters and...

101 meter plunge she took. theres no crocs on that parts as crocs dont swim in rapids

that's how far from the moment she stepped off.

her actual velocity hitting the water was nowhere near that which she would have reached had she had no rope to start with.

The rope had already taken a large bite out of her momentum.

At her velocity -- and this is pure conjecture as the specific details needed require a good deal of effort over my head -- she, in reality, survived a fall of something less than 50m. Likely had a remaining momentum of something like 35m based on my perceptions of her change in velocity.

Its not a rope its bungee court
Chilling footage of the incident shows the young holidaymaker, from Perth, leaping from the bridge which crosses a gorge 111 metres above the water.

Crocs you get at tranquil spots at the Mana Pool in Zimbabwe so on not at the waterfalls in Zambia

I love watching these videos. Especially that moment when everyone gets all freaked out. It's like they hit a moment of clarity and realize what they are all doing is completely fucking stupid, just for a quick thrill.

Then they fix the cord and the next person gets mounted up.

And this is why I will stick with skydiving for my adrenaline kicks. Fuck, if I ever the feel the need to jump off a bridge I'll put a BASE rig on my back before a piece of fucking rope around my ankles.

I plan to jump soon but definitely not with a company run in zambia/zimbabwe. That said, if the bungee snaps, I won't have to worry about crocodiles, only about having a will.

(btw, tags, lol.)

Only 35m eh? That's only like 100'; like stepping off a curb.
