Bumper stickers: do you put them on your car?

This morning, driving to work, I saw a newer Bentley (no clue how new, really - I don't know Bentleys - just looked new) with bumper stickers all over the rear end. On paint. Put them on glass, or chrome - those will both clean off without a problem, but paint? On an expensive car?

I, for one, never really went for bumper stickers, but even if I had, I'd have stopped using them once I got my first non-POS car.

He'll probably just throw away the bentley when the stickers displease him.

The only stickers on my car are parking stickers and they go on the glass only.

 
In high school, my friend bought a brand new escort. One day after he bought it, he wallpapered the entire rear with "clever" bumper stickers. I always thought it was the stupidest thing I'd ever seen anyone do.

The only time I'd use a bumper sticker is if my bumper was rusting out and needed something to cover it up... seeing that my outward facing bumper is not metal on my current vehicle, I'll never be putting one on.
 
anyone remember that commercial, I think it was for Nissan, where the little girl shows her dad the honor roll bumper sticker she got from school, and asks if she can put it on her dad's car? dad looks at his new car, and then says, "lets put it on mommy's car."
 
hell no - they look dumb. in addition, making your car a front for political/religious/whatever opinions is stupid.

There were some anti-Bush ones, one from a local vintage store that I thought extra out of place. One that said something about being Vegan.

I was only behind him for 30 seconds or so before turning.

I'm not sure what would qualify as a 'good' bumper sticker...

i remember as a kid we took a vacation and stopped at that pubic diamond mine in Arkansas 1978 if i remember right Text. My mom really really wanted to go dig in the dirt and try to find a diamond. well when the day finally ended we went back to the parking lot to get in the RV and my dad noticed some guy putting bumper stickers on all the cars in the parking lot. he went around and looked at the back of the RV and sure as hell the dumbass put the diamond mine bumper sticker on the RV. I thought my dad was going to kill him ive never seen him so pissed. now that i am a adult i think about that every now and then like when im walking out to my car from Walmart and i think to myself, what would i do if i saw a walmart employee slapping walmart bumper stickers on cars and he already got my car....

My mom has my college on her Cadillac. It's the window kind. I had originally got it for my car, but we bought the kind that sticks on the inside and I have tinted windows. Bumper stickers suck though. You look like a tool with them on your car.
 
i think they look kinda tacky. I think like one smaller sticker is fine, I wouldn't put anything on paint unless the paint under it was bad/gone or it was related to my car (carpool pass/triple AAA sticker, etc).
