ok at first when i tried to set it up, no one could connect but after reading some tutorials and changing some settings the problem is that there is no connections allowed...iv tried everything...iv allowed more then 1 client on my ftp at once....i opened port 444 for the FTP and ports 50000-50100 for passive mode (the turtorial told me to do it)..i cant use port 21 because i also need to fxp........need some help please!!!...BulletProof FTP v2.3.1 and a DLINK DI-604 router

are you also being explicit in your connection attempts to the ftp about port 444 or just using the server name? I don't really understand the port 21 issue, I ftp to sites and am always running my local ftp on port 21. There isn't a direct port mapping between local and remote... when I connect to a remote ftp on port 21, I am not using my local port 21. I'm being assigned (I assume) an available local port...

i opened the ports in my router settings and set it up on BulletProof to use those ports....it must be something small im doing wrong...but i can't seem to figure it out
