Built-in audio chip quality is terrible

Well, you could always try to RMA the mobo and see if a replacement will be better.

Thing is, here in Lithuania, people are used to try evading problems and work because they don't want to do anything, even shops and etc. I'm almost sure they would just say 'oh your headphones are bad; that's not a mobo problem; check your wiring; blah blah'.
Gotta give a shot anyway I guess...

That's really too bad. Unless you find a headphone amp to test out I don't know what else to suggest.

To me it sounds like the ports are bad or just not outputting enough power.
