Hi all
Built a PC mostly with new parts:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Socket 939
Asus A8N-Sli nForce4 Sli Socket 939 Pci-express mobo
Geil 1GB Pc3200 Dual Channel ram
Leadtek GeForce 7800GT GFX Card
Enermax Noisetaker 600w

The problem is the monitor is not receiving any signal, so therefore there is no picture. So we decided to undertake some troubleshooting steps, eg running a barebones test, which didnt even result in any error beeps coming from the motherboard as you would expect when there is no ram or graphics card attatched. Do you people think the motherboard is faulty, and if so do you suggest getting another motherboard, and if so which one do you recommend?
Thanks in advance.

You may want to check in the BIOS to see what the 'SLI mode'
setting is.

I believe the Default is "AUTO".
You need to set it to "NORMAL" if not using it in SLI mode

If that doesn't help, try clearing the CMOS and starting again.
