im building a new computer since mine is almost a year old and all the technology is out of date already. im wondering if someone could post a meesage saying what else i need to get. so far im getting a overclockable duron i have a 45 gig hard drive and i have cooling for the mother board what else is there?

My opinion: if you can stand to wait a few more months, the new DDR boards will be available soon. And DDR RAM will only be a little bit more expensive than regular PC133.

Damn, your computer is only a year old and your upgrading already ??? :Q

My computer is over 4 years old and it has been adequate for surfing and playing "certain" games.

Only now am I gonna upgrade soon(tbird/asusA7V/45gb/radeon).

I'd wait for DDR or mustang equivalent of duron (I'll be out before christmas).
I'd wait too but I need a second computer immediatly.

DVD : depends on your budget and yourself.
I'm not gonna install a DVD drive for a long time probably, only when software comes out exclusively on the format, and I don't watch movies on my computer :D , so for me there no need.
