Building new system

I'm looking at building a new system with an E6700 CPU and the MSI 975X Power Up Edition mainboard. (Thermaltake Aquila case and Thermaltake Toughpower 750W PSU)

What RAM would you recommend? (I'm living in Sweden, so choices are limited. No OCZ or Geil for instance...)

Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5D XMS28500 2048MB 5-5-5-15-2T 2X240DIMM

or

Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C3 XMS2-6400 2048MB 3-4-3-9 2X240 DIMM

Also how much RAM would you recommend as I'm probably am gonna use Windows Vista, 2Gb or 4Gb?

so contrary to what a lot of people have said on this forum (according to that article), the 1:1 cpu/mem ratio is important to the C2D.

Thanks for the excellent link Mellman!

The system will mainly be used for games, some video editing will probably be done too, but mostly games.

Also I guess that answers the questing why the 6400 RAM is $140 more than the 8500.
