I'm building a new rig, can you suggest me how to make this better?
here's what i have so far:

i7 920
p6t deluxe v2
sapphire Radeon HD 4890
Enermax revolution 85+ 850w
WD caviar black 1tb
ocz platinum xtc 1600 6gb

Everything else I have. I might Crosssfire the GPU,
I will be using it for gaming, like crysis and call of duty at 1680x1050
and what I have is about 1450$CAD
(this is my first build)

Thanks!

You're pretty good.

For Crysis at 1680, the 4890 is cutting it close. I'm pulling between 25-35 frames on highest settings, no AA, 1680x1050, but your processor is stronger than mine, so it may make the difference.

Crossfiring them will be one hell of a power draw, though.

how much power would crossfireing take up? because upgrading to the 1050 model is 40$ more

Here's a handy tool for ballparking it.

Just make sure the amperage is high enough on the 12V+ rails. That's where it matters. I doublt you'll have a problem with that PSU though. Even at 850w, it's still probably overkill. The general rule is not to exceed 80% of normal output, not peak output.

would the radeon 4770 be a better choice? i might get two to crossfire, but i might want to upgrade, so would this be a better choice?
