building new rig which cpu?

Well basically im building a new rig for a friend but i dont know which cpu to get the 3500+ 939 (Venice) or 3700+ (San Diego) any ideas? which core is meant to be better?
 
The San Diego just has more l2 cache. That's it. It's a popular chip with some overclockers. But, if you're gonna overclock, it would be better to get a s939 Opteron instead.
 
I would go for any of those cpu's there all great cpu's I would get the 939 Opteron though... it has the larger cache and is made out of slightly better silicon.. If it?s for your friend then hook him up with the good stuff an go with an opty
