Which is why I originally suggested just buying a Dell or HP machine (with OS already installed) and throwing in a 4830.

Or a 4870 just to appease nestlewater. But you will probably need a stronger PSU also going this route.

I work in the software industry, piracy cannot be stopped, encouraged or otherwise.

It wasn't my attitude, it was because the stuff my department was making is complete bogus, along with the rest of the products made here. I just heard two weeks ago, that a few more departments got laid off.

No one REALLY needed the stuff. I can't tell you what it was exactly, but an analogous situation would be, You can use a spoon, or your hands, if you're DEAD broke like the rest of the economy, hands will suffice.

Now i'm stuck in a country I don't like, doing completely meaningless work. Only slightly more meaningless than programming, but theres no product here whatsoever. Unless you count Drunk people and booking cabs to drive them home
