I'm selling my current PC to a friend for $400. Just the tower it self with whatever thats instead of it. I think he's getting a killer deal from me(look in sig for pc spec) Lol. But anyways, here's what i'm going with...

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
$176.99

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Winchester Integrated into Chip FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3200BIBOX
$190

SAPPHIRE Radeon X800 256MB GDDR3 PCI-Express x16 Video Card
$249

Ram - this is the part i'm stuck on...on the curernt pc that i'm using the one that i'm going to sell my friend has a Kingston HyperX 2x512mb @ 2-2-2-5 and it works wonderfully...

But i like to try new things...so What'd u recommand?...I heard Cosairs good...but too many "types" of editions....dunno which ones are good.

OCZ Gold Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model OCZ4001024ELDCGE-K

sounds ok?...Right now with all that totally $791.66, still need to get new case, more fans, cdrw/dvdrw drives. How much watts of voltage do you think i'll be needing for this new PC that i'm building? 420watts should be well enough don't you think?

Thanks all!

for the gfx card go with a x800xl, a much better card than the pro and only $20 more. that power supply would be ok as long as you never went to sli...and with your choice of the sli board maybe your thinking of that option, but your buying a ati card. the asus board is good but if you're not gonna go sli you'd be better off with a dfi board which will allow you to overclock that winchester and give the voltage to that the twinmos or the ocz value that they need for good overclocks.

yes, i also looked into that board. I couldn't decide on which one to go with, so i went with my first choice. But since you and somewhere i read that the DFI board u posted, has a better chance of overclocking. Thanks for the advice! What would you recommand for a nice and long lasting quiet power supply system? Because the current one that i have on my PC is pretty loud...but it's been nothing but good coming from the PS. Its just a little loud..

the x800xl is definately worth it. for a nice quiet power supply seasonic would be a good buy. sli really isn't worth it since your paying $700-$1000 for maybe 20-40% max performace gain. if you want the best and have the money then sli's the way but i really don't think its worth the money IMHO.

http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814164041 only 269 for a x800xl which has almost equal performance of a 6800gt or x800xt

http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=PS-S12-430 <---link for seasonic. if your not going sli your current power supply or an xclio should work fine

thats the thing, i dont really need 2 video card later on...so i switched over to the DFI nf4. thanks for looking out!
