i have the dfi board so i'm obviously biased but the epox is good too

i have an x700 on it, its a bit of waste to get the sli version with an high-end ati card but your looking at the ultra-d

the epox

I recommend the epox for people who are either getting corsair ram or a lower than 480 watt psu

you have neither so dfi it up

you also get some nice cables with the dfi

The basic X-Fi might be a good pick for you if you have nice headphones already. The surround headphones processing seems like the most interesting thing of X-Fi to me.

(If you don't have nice headphones already, then I'd say get a nice set before you worry to much about the source for them)

the dfi requires a 480 watt psu, the epox doesn't, a 400 would be enough

since your getting at 500 watt psu, might as well get the dfi

and wait for x-fi

any psu from tagan, fortron, antec, enermax, seasonic, t&t at 400-420 watts will be more than enough to run your computer

Well i think OCZ is just as good as any other PSU in fact i think it is better. My rails are always stable and i got the modstream 520. It rocks!
