Ok, I've finally decided to build my gaiming rid again and here are the parts sans the graphics card and cpu.
http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/wis...cWishDetail.asp?WishListNumber=3434025
The proc I want is the e6600 (should be out in an hour at the earliest) and the EVGA 7950GX2.

I already have a case, monitor, and input devices.

My question is, are these good parts to put together for a rig? I want to overclock, so if there's something I should get, or if you have any other suggestions, feel free to tell me.

Looks about right. Maybe a tuniq tower for cooling. May or may not be days or weeks until you can actually get your hands on an e6600 btw.

TAKE NOTE:
The ASUS P5W DH Deluxe DOES NOT support any 7950gx2's atm....I discovered this before I made the mistake of buying a similar MOBO (the P5B). Check out the list of supported Mobo's on Nvidia's site LINK. Also if that doesn't convince you check out this LINK. I would recommend the Abit AB9 Pro. It scored fairly well LINK. That's what I went with for my Core 2 Duo build (and a 7950). Good Luck.

Plus, no matter which motherboard you buy, you're going to need a non-Conroe processor (a "normal" LGA775 proc.), so you can update the BIOS to a BIOS that supports the Conroe. Of course, having a spare processor that fits your motherboard is a good thing, and since Celerons are so cheap now, it wouldn't cost that much more.

I've read in some places that this mobo and card have worked together after getting the newest drivers and BIOS? Can someone confirm, because I really want to overclock.

Yes, I'll be looking into that and probably get the tuniq tower too.
