Hi, I'm new here :)

I'm going to be building a new comp in the next few weeks. It is going to be mainly a gaming PC, Wanting to run the newest games at max quality. I want to spend around $1500-1700 on it, not including the monitor, as I have a 22", and will be ordering from the US. I've read other threads similar to this and have came up with this build:

Case: Antec 900
Mobo: Asus P5k Deluxe/Wifi-AP
Video: EVGA Geforce 8800GT SSC 512MB
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Memory: G. SKILL 4GB(2x2GB) DDR2 800
HD: Western Digital Caviar 500GB
Sound: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series
HS: Tuniq Tower 120
P. Supply: OCZ GameXStream 700W
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit

The Video Card is pending to change though. If the new 8800GTS comes out soon after I have the money saved up, I'll wait to get that.

Everything is going to be ordered from Newegg except the Q6600. I'm going to order that from ClubIT to make sure its a G0. I'm also planning on overclocking it to 3.2GHz.

I'm looking for any suggestions or tips on this build. Thank you :)

Only thing I would change would be the power supply. To this one. Just because it has been proven that it is a beast so many times, and it is modular.

Corsair Hx620.

Also there is a small difference between the G0 and the B3. And that the 10w TDP difference. People thought the the G0 would clock better, but it doesn't

Even the 620W Corsair is more than you need. You may as well save yourself some dough and get the 520W. (For that matter, 520W is probably overkill, but a lot of people like the reliability, quiet operation, and modular design of the Corsair HX series.)
