thanks for all the help everyone, i think I'm about done with what I need.
I really am sure I don't need a DVD burner, this PC (my dad's) has one, but I never needed to use it (he would let me if I did), and the CD burner is fine if I actually have to burn anything.
thats a great PSU for the price the only problem is its not an ATX 2.0 PSU, like boards that use pci-e prefer, will it work yes? but there is a possiblity for stablity issues because the x800xl does not have a seperate power plug on the card and it will be pulling all its power from the pci-e slot. but since that PSU is a good on you shouldn't have a problem
