hi, im planning on buying these parts from newegg.com this is a budget gaming computer so i cant get the top of the line hardware. Can someone review these items to see if they all fit together? and is this all the hardware i need to build a computer and have it running when im done? (i also have winxp cd) suggestions on how to lower the price of this computer even more would be great!

POWMAX CP0327PL-4 Window Black/Silver SGCC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400W Power Supply - Retail

CD/DVD ROM Drive $19.99
LITE-ON Beige IDE DVD-ROM Drive Model SOHD-16P9S - Retail

Internal Hard Drive $45.50
Western Digital Caviar 40GB 3.5" IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive - OEM

Memory - System $68.83
BUFFALO 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM System Memory - Retail

Processor $169.00
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor - Retail

video card $104.00
eVGA Geforce 6600 256-P2-N369-T6 Video Card - Retail

Headphone & Headset Accessories $6.65
DCT Factory HP-259 3.5mm Connector Stereo Headset - Retail

together, the total will come to $511.45, with tax and shipping to my house would be 590.01.

also, i still have a few questions, does this motherboard fit into the case that i chose? and is there a tut of how to install harddrives/cs drives with pictures. I still dont know how to install the long white tape comming out of those devices

I just built the same exact system last week for someone. 3200+ and The ASrock 939Dual ULi m1695 with WD HDD and 1GB of Corsair Value. It's a great machine! I did use a 6200 in place of the 6600 because it is for mostly non 3D use.

i would personally upgrade to an 80GB drive (since it's only $5 more) and u don't need to but you could go with a namebrand ram (g.skill value ram goes for $75, corsair for $80ish)

good job with the build and welcome to the forums
