Just finished ordering the last components of my new semi-budget computer, Final specs:

Athlon 64 3000+ 939
MSI Neo2 939 Mobo
512x2 Kingston HyperX PC3200
Antec Lanboy Case
Enermax 370W PS- Dual 12v volt (14A,13A)
BFG 6800 OC (Best Buy deal w/ Half life)
Harvest; CDRW, DVDROM, LCD, keyboard, mouse

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone had any good links for the first time builder as far as construction but also BIOS setup. And, solutions to common problems or things to avoid. Also, what other benchmark programs should i use to test the components of the systems? I know of Prime95, Sandra, 3DMArk, but have never used them. ANy other advice for the build are welcome!

Thanks
-Chris

dump that "fast" RAM and go for a gig of regular 3200, and with the money saved you can EASILY afford a 6800GT

Now, anyhelp on the initial BIOS setup? I've glanced at the Optimization guide but wanted something else, more introductory. Like memory timings, will the bios automatically set it to at least a working speed (if not the fastest) or could it somehow not work until set correctly? Any other BIOS tips as well as general harware/mobo tips for the first time user are welcome!
