I think that amount of ram is reasonable especially with Win XP pro plus its only $50(can) or $32(US) more. I moved from 256MB to 512MB myself and found a noticeable improvement. What do you think about the Nforce board good move? Also does the price sound reasonable i wouldn't mind sticking with a local retailer but would order online if the price is much better.

First I want to retract my memory statement, sorry.
I think the nForce is a good idea, with integrated video, why I want to retract my memory statement, with the extra RAM it can use it. With light gaming by the little ones it's a smart move.

Have you checked NewEgg or MWave for cheaper prices?

I see you're going with XP so the only place to save a couple bucks would be to drop back to the 32x lite-on and 256mb of ram but it looks good the way you got it now.
