Whats a good, solid mobo + cpu (I need something fast) from Intel and AMD. What do you guys recommend? I want to compaire the two. I'm building a soild machine for video editing. I do not want SATA. PATA please. Already have HDD.

The "perfect video editing computer" has been discussed a lot in the past.
You may be able to do a search and find info.

As far as I remember, nobody won cause nobody has the perfect video box.
Ends up in AMD/Intel wars......
Oh yeah, need humongous hard drive capacity....
Just do it and enjoy............
