I am building a low end system for a graphic designer. This is what I am leaning towards buying:

Antec SX830 = 130
ABIT VP6 = 200
2 P3/700E cc0 = 440
256MB Kingmax TinyBGA PC150 = 200
2 IBM Deskstar 75 GXP 15GB hard drives = 260
1 Cardex GeForce2 MX 32MB = 130
2 GlobalWin FOP-38 = 60

Price < $1500 US

Questions:
1. Can anyone think of anything that would improve the configuration, but keep the price low?

2. I live in Barbados and I'm having diffuculty finding places that ship outside of the US from whom I can get the RAM and case. Does anyone know of where I can buy them?

Regards,
Handbrake.

I dont know of a vendor that ships outside US.Nice looking system though. The prices you quote seem high to me.A 700e is like 172 per.Maybe thats the price shipped to Barbados. That pc should honk.I didnt know the vp6 was out.

I would switch the GeForce2 MX with a Matrox G450. The MX is good low end gaming card the G450 (about $150USD) will be better for working with 2D/3D graphics in a professional setting.

Thanks alot for the prompt response guys. I'm still searching for some place from which to order the RAM and case. As far as the GF2MX, I'll be using the machine when the graphic designer isn't there. I play games :D
